Township to change buyers

In a surprise update to the agenda for their regularly scheduled meeting on March 8, 2023, the Towamencin Board of Supervisors announced that NextEra is divesting all sewer & water contracts and wants to assign the Asset Purchase Agreement to PA American Water Company (PAWC). They will be voting on it at their March 22, 2023 meeting. You can attend in person at 7 PM at the Township Meeting Hall or submit a comment by 4:30 PM at info@towamencin.org.

NOPE strongly opposes this move, which cannot happen without the Board of Supervisor’s consent. Here’s a sampling of what this could mean for Towamencin residents:
